HMS Prince of Wales

On a fast rib excursion on the Firth of Forth i was delighted to find the Prince of Wales had just left Rosyth Dockyard and was at anchor ahead of her first sea trial scheduled for later that day.

There was a 200M exclusion zone around her, enforced by the police rib seen in most pics...i was surprised it was only 200M but i wasn't complaining because it meant i probably got once in a lifetime pics of her at anchor in the Forth before she was certified seaworthy.
[Aside of course from the other handful of people that happened to be on the river that day.]

The other pics, all steeped in their own history are of the islands of Inchgarvie, Inchcolm and Inchmickery along with the Forth Rail Bridge, Forth Road Bridge and Queensferry Crossing, the latter three being at time of writing the only place in the world to have "the only place in the world to have 3 major bridges within half a mile of each other that were built in 3 different century's"
